July 4, 2008, Newsletter Issue #122: Roll on liner protection

Tip of the Week

If you don't want to go to the trouble of hunting down a nice custom liner for your truck bed, you can roll on, or spray on, a protective coating. Sort of like underarm deodorant. This will make your truck look spiffier and give it a tough, non-skid surface. Plus, it will cost you less. The roll-on version is simpler to apply than the spray on and results in a nice textured finish. Here are the materials you'll need to give your truck bed a thick new protective coat. Roll-on bed-protector kit, Electric sander, sandpaper and abrasive pads, Rubbing alcohol, Newspaper and masking tape, Socket wrench or screwdriver, Rubber gloves, Particle mask
