It would seem that a brake pad is a brake pad is a brake pad, but the fact is there are brake pads and then there are brake pads. It is true that all brake pads work the same way to stop the vehicle. The dramatic difference in performance between one manufacturer's pad and another is due to materials, formulas, design and craftsmanship. That's why it pays to check out the quality of an aftermarket pad before you slap it onto your brakes. Cheap pads are no bargain. Look for higher quality pads from distributors like EBC brake pads, and others.
