The Right Tonneau Cover
When choosing a tonneau cover, always remember to choose the one that best fits your needs and wants. Whether it be an aluminum tonneau cover, soft tonneau cover, or fiberglass tonneau cover, it's important that the style you choose fit with your intended use. Most show trucks will have a fiberglass tonneau cover, painted to match the truck or with some type of custom painted designs. The average Joe or Jane will choose a less expensive or easy accessible bed cover like a roll up or retractable tonneau cover.
When choosing the tonneau cover for your truck, look for warranty, materials used to make the tonneau cover and the price. A fiberglass tonneau cover is not as easy to access as a soft cover and may be more expensive, and a soft cover does not protect as well as the fiberglass but may be less expensive. Soft tonneau covers tend to have more problems in high wind situations where fiberglass covers would not.
