September 15, 2006, Newsletter Issue #31: Chipping in extra power

Tip of the Week

You know when in sci-fi movies Arnold the cyborg gets a new chip and then goes out and kicks the bad cyborg's posterior? Well, installing a Bully Dog chip in your vehicle's brain won't usually help you whup up on a cyborg, but it will improve the engine's performance and power big time. You'll notice right away that the response at a lower number of revs (torque) will increase spectacularly. This can make driving in a mountainous area, pulling a trailer and the like a lot easier, safer, and more fun. Plus, and this is a big plus nowadays, you should use less gas.
