March 20, 2009, Newsletter Issue #158: VentShade Visors

Tip of the Week

Ventshade visors - or window visors - are designed to stop the glare from the sun and/or its reflection. They also block the rain from entering the vehicle while driving, or sitting still at a stop sign or red light. This creates a safer and more comfortable condition while driving. Ventshade visors are very inexpensive and extremely quick and easy to install.

But like anything, proper maintenance ensures your safety. The sun, heat, rain, cold, and snow can cause damage to your vent visors and bug shields. The easiest way to protect them is by applying a coat of wax every time you wash your vehicle. Waxes such as Turtle wax or Maguires are enough to keep your bug deflectors and vent visors clean and looking great. Harsh cleaners can add to the fading you get when cleaning.
